How did people, who transitioned to the digital nomad lifestyle, overcome their desire to own materialistic things?

Answered by Andrea Valeria, vlogger & personal branding consultant

It's a matter of shifting priorities. In my case, I value traveling light and being able to move easily. Having a collection of shoes doesn't make me happy, but it's a matter of preference. If you love experiences, you start putting them over the desire to have a new car, for example. Sometimes you just realize you don't need that expensive dress to live your best life. There's no secret on how to achieve this... but, after traveling enough you might feel that shift in priorities at some point.
