How do you manage on-site communication with clients during retreats: do you hire someone local or do you always fly in?

Our operation is quite small at the moment, so we handle communications with clients from the first contact email to the goodbye at the airport and the feedback survey after.

From the very inception of the retreat, when we start designing the experience, we do rely on knowledge from locals in order to create the most authentic experience possible.
