How do you think tax laws will react as more and more people choose the digital nomad lifestyle?

Answered by Dan Lawrence, SEO and e-commerce specialist

I think you will definately see an explosion in programmes and schemes such as Estonias pioneering e-residency scheme as nation states realise that they must help not hinder the new paradigm since they need their tax revenues to survive.

States should see Digital Nomadism as a way of retaining and increasing revenues they generate from taxation so progressive states will adopt tax laws to encourage DN's such as Estonia has pioneered. The states that don't adapt in this way will find themselves losing tax revenue and hence eventually becoming bankrupt & irrelevant.
