There is a good book called the Clean Code Handbook: Software Craftsmanship by "Uncle Bob" as he's affectionately known.
All examples are in Java, but most of the concepts are universal; the book has been recommended to me by quite a few software engineers.
There is also an adaptation of the book for JavaScript.
There are translated guides of Clean Code principles for most languages. Just search through GitHub.
