How long do you usually stay in one location as a digital nomad?

Answered by Patrick Farrell, photographer and software engineer

It really depends but to get work done I would recommend staying in a place for about a month, but minimum 2 weeks. When you are in a place for a month, you get to know the area and the culture. You get to know where your favorite coffee shop is and can get into a routine which makes you more productive.

The good thing about this amount of time too is that is forces you to push your comfort zone every month. Just when you start getting comfortable, you move to a new location with new things to learn and too, which develops your brains critical thinking skills.
