Is it possible to be a digital nomad and have meaningful work and community at the same time?

Answered by Adrian Ingram, e-book publisher & Youtuber

I believe so. There are certainly great digital nomad communities in a few places around the world, so that part is easy. As far as having meaningful work, I'm sure you can, though I don't think it's necessarily the best thing to focus on.

I see a lot of people work on creating businesses they are passionate about and that are meaningful. These people almost always fail because they have no real revenue model. I'd recommend starting a business with the sole aim of making money first. Once you have that, you can use that money and the time you now have to contribute to the community and work on things that have great meaning to you.
