What are your niche/s as a digital marketer? Do you focus on only one niche?

Answered by Thibault Lemaitre, digital marketing consultant

I didn't use to, and even today, I try to keep things open. However, a few of my early clients ended up being B2B SaaS startup, and since then, I've tried to keep working, at least partially, with B2B customers.

There are relatively few B2B marketers working freelance, especially in Social Media and Content Marketing.

However working with B2B businesses is interesting because

  1. It pays better --- in my experience;
  2. You're helping with a different type of audience and different types of challenges.

Note: B2B = Business-to-Business As opposition to B2C: Business-to-Consumer

SaaS = Software as a Service Think about a cloud platform where you pay a subscription to be able to use a piece of software, like Salesforce, Zendesk, Dropbox, or Buffer, etc...
