What is your client acquisition strategy as a social media marketer?

In the beginning, I started off by pitching my services actively to friends and family as well as looking for gigs on freelance websites such as Upwork and Fiverr.

Nowadays, I go to a lot of networking events in the place where I am based at the time and try to make as many connections with fellow entrepreneurs in real life. Many digital nomad destinations feature marketing related meetups and events which are great to connect with potential clients.

In addition, I have a good and steady client base for which I produce consistent results. Therefore, they are often happy to refer me new clients quite frequently.
