There are only two things that I can think of and both of them happened almost at the same time in Australia.
I was in Melbourne, taking the tramway and listening to a podcast. After I exited the tram and crossed the empty rail track, I missed a step and fell down, twisting my ankle heavily. Thankfully I was almost back at the Airbnb, but I was alone, and I spent the following two days barely able to put my foot down. Luckily my friend was close by and came around the following day. He brought some food and we hung out at the Airbnb that evening.
The second thing was a huge amount of stress as two of my clients were fairly late in paying me and money was starting to run low. Once again: everyone told me Australia would be expensive, and even having prepared myself for it, I wasn't ready. It was VERY expensive to be there!
Bonus tip: leaving Australia, I had forgotten to buy the extra checked bag — that was one expensive mistake because if you buy that option at the counter, they super-charge you!
