Booking flights and hotels is not that hard, but if you move quickly and frequently, looking into these things can get tiring especially when you don't want to spend too much of your free time looking into the best options (which can take up quite a bit of time) and that's when a VA comes in handy.
Having a VA plan and coordinate travel would definitely be a great idea although I'd say getting in touch with influencers or people you would like to meet is always best done on a personal level, but finding out who is where is a task you can definitely hand off then setting up contact is easy.
Once communication has been established, the planning on what to do can then be handed over to the VA again.
